What is a B Corp?
Certified B Corporations are for-profit companies that use the power of business to build a more inclusive and sustainable economy. They meet the highest verified standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. To date, there are more than 3,000 B Corps in 150 industries and 71 countries around the world.
For Kids in the Game, it connects us with a community of other thought leaders and trailblazers in every arena of business.
How Kids in the Game became a B Corp™
To obtain B Corp Certification, Kids in the Game participated in and passed the B Impact Assessment process, which is verified by B Lab®. This evaluated everything from our operations and business model impact on staff, our community and environmental practices, to customers, employee benefits, and our mission-locked impact. After a two-year application and review process, we are thrilled to officially join the global family of Certified B Corporations. Businesses need to score a minimum of 80 points to earn B Corp Certification, and we are proud to say we scored 100.6.
