When signing up for Enrichment, after-school care is included until 5pm on the day the child is registered for the Enrichment class. If your child’s Enrichment class ends earlier than 5pm, it is not required he/she stay until that time. You’re welcome to pick up any time after the class ends.

Children in the Enrichment Program will have the option to participate in the KING+ program which provides care until 6pm. Students in the KING+ will be charged a flat fee of $15/day.

Between dismissal and when their class starts, students will have homework help, eat snack, and do supervised activities with their Kids in the Game coaches.

Within the first two full weeks of Enrichment classes, if you are not 100% satisfied with your class purchase, you may transfer your child into another class. Fees may apply due to varied class costs. No refunds will be given after the second full week of Enrichment classes. There are no refunds or discounts for being absent due to sickness, vacation, inclement weather, other programming, or any other reason including moving, transferring, unexpected circumstances, etc.

No make up classes will be held for snow-days or other inclement weather closings.

During class, it is asked that parents, guardians, siblings, and other friends and family remain outside the school/classroom unless otherwise instructed by the teacher of the class. While it is always a pleasure to see everyone, the excitement can distract the students and divert attention from the instructor.

If participating in an active Enrichment class, please be sure to pack a change of clothes appropriate for the activity. Children may only be released to parents/guardians that have been authorized by you. These can be updated at any point in the session by the parent/guardian of the child. Please email with this information.

Program Descriptions

  • Basketball

“King Hoops” – In our classes we will learn the foundational skills of basketball! We will teach them stationary ball handling drills to get them more comfortable with the ball, how to properly hold and shoot a basketball, and play small sided games to start re-enforcing our skills. The classes are taught in a non-competitive environment where the focus is learning, having fun, and becoming better athletes.

We start with the Aztecs and learn about a feathered serpent and Aztec shields. Then, we earn about the Maya and their buildings and writing systems. We wrap up our sessions with newer art forms like Alebrijes (Oaxacan animal sculptures) and Lucha Libre wrestlers!

Anthro Arts: Middle East In this class, youth learn about cultural traditions from the Middle East from ancient times to today. Our classes start with a warm-up drawing activity and kids spend the bulk of their time working on an arts-based project. • Coding

The Coding Space is an after school enrichment program where students learn to tackle challenges independently through learning to code. In our classrooms, students learn entirely through creating projects, allowing them to work on their critical thinking and problem solving skills while simultaneously picking up the hard skills of coding. By challenging students at their individual level to create projects as unique as they are, we underscore the power of personalized learning. And with our small student-to-teacher ratio and Socratic-based teaching methods, students get the guidance they need to keep moving forward while developing their inner critical voice.
