A 10% sibling discount is applied for all siblings after the first when 2 or more children within the same family are registered for the same type of class. They can be in different sections of the class, but must take part in the same activity to receive the discount. As there are different vendors providing classes, discounts are not able to be shared across the program.

Example of discount: A brother in Kindergarten Basketball and a sister in 3rd grade Basketball will receive the sibling discount.
Example of no discount: A brother in Kindergarten Basketball and a sister in 3rd grade STEM will NOT receive the sibling discount, as they are enrolled in different activities.

To receive the sibling discount: A 10% sibling discount is applied for all siblings after the first when 2 or more children within the same family are registered for the same enrichment class. The sibling discount difference will be refunded after the first few weeks of program.

When signing up for Enrichment, after-school care is included until 6pm on the day the child is registered for the Enrichment class. If your child’s Enrichment class ends earlier than 5pm, it is not required he/she stay until that time. You’re welcome to pick up any time after the class ends.

Children in the Enrichment Program will have the option to participate in the KING+ program which provides care until 6pm. Students in the KING+ will be charged a flat fee of $15/day.

Between dismissal and when their class starts, students will have homework help, eat snack, and do supervised activities with their Kids in the Game coaches.

Within the first two full weeks of Enrichment classes, if you are not 100% satisfied with your class purchase, you may transfer your child into another class. Fees may apply due to varied class costs. No refunds will be given after the second full week of Enrichment classes. There are no refunds or discounts for being absent due to sickness, vacation, inclement weather, other programming, or any other reason including moving, transferring, unexpected circumstances, etc.

  • Coding

The Coding Space is an after school enrichment program where students learn to tackle challenges independently through learning to code. In our classrooms, students learn entirely through creating projects, allowing them to work on their critical thinking and problem solving skills while simultaneously picking up the hard skills of coding. By challenging students at their individual level to create projects as unique as they are, we underscore the power of personalized learning. And with our small student-to-teacher ratio and Socratic-based teaching methods, students get the guidance they need to keep moving forward while developing their inner critical voice.

  • Dance Party

Dance Party classes are designed exclusively for kids to combine movement, music and community in a class for children. The class is a rockin’, high-energy dance party packed with specially choreographed, kid-friendly routines (hip-hop, reggaeton, cumbia among others) and all the music kids love. In addition, Dance Party classes inspire kids to express themselves through movement and play while effectively improving their overall health and well-being. Cognitive skills (memory and sequencing, creativity and imagination), psychomotor skills (coordination, balance, and spatial awareness), and life skills (flexibility, initiative, social skills, productivity, self-confidence and leadership) are among others that are being developed. Kids love it because it’s on the cutting edge and fun, and so do parents because it’s active, fun, and for the effects it has on kids – increasing focus and self-confidence, boosting metabolism, and enhancing coordination.

For the littlest fencer, New Amsterdam Fencing Academy focuses, first and foremost, on developing a healthy child – while allowing them to run around brandishing foam swords. This weekly class helps kids in Kindergarten to 2nd grade improve their balance, hand-eye coordination, and mindfulness through games and challenges. That involve swords. They like that.

Fencers in 3rd and 5th grade engage in a group class that uses the building blocks of competitive fencing to emphasize the importance of working together while also fostering the child’s ability to think individually and critically starting from an early age.
