When signing up for Enrichment, after-school care is included until 5pm on the day the child is registered for the Enrichment class. If your child’s Enrichment class ends earlier than 5pm, it is not required he/she stay until that time. You’re welcome to pick up any time after the class ends.

Between dismissal and when their class starts, students will have homework help, eat snack, and do supervised activities with their Kids in the Game coaches.

Program options can be cancelled or changed, with no penalty, up to 7 days before the program start date (1st of the month).
Cancellation or change of program option within 7 days of the program start date will result in an 85% refund.

Program Descriptions

  • Coding

The Coding Space is an after school enrichment program where students learn to tackle challenges independently through learning to code. In our classrooms, students learn entirely through creating projects, allowing them to work on their critical thinking and problem solving skills while simultaneously picking up the hard skills of coding. By challenging students at their individual level to create projects as unique as they are, we underscore the power of personalized learning. And with our small student-to-teacher ratio and Socratic-based teaching methods, students get the guidance they need to keep moving forward while developing their inner critical voice.

  • Tennis

Our programs introduce tennis sized right for kids so they develop skills and have fun right from the start. Using modified equipment and courts tailored to a child’s size and age, kids will learn, rally, play and compete quickly and in a way that is both enjoyable and rewarding.

In this all-skill level enrichment program, students will gain exposure to all of the musical theatre eras from Rodgers and Hammerstein to hip pop musicals such as Hamilton! Sing, dance and get a great overview of Broadway styles. Work on confidence building and acting technique with fellow actors! A Class Act NY’s mission has been to enrich lives through the performing arts in a supportive environment since 2005.

  • Dance

Dance  classes are designed exclusively for kids to combine movement, music and community in a class for children. The class is a rockin’, high-energy dance party packed with specially choreographed, kid-friendly routines (hip-hop, reggaeton, cumbia among others) and all the music kids love. In addition, Dance Party classes inspire kids to express themselves through movement and play while effectively improving their overall health and well-being. Cognitive skills (memory and sequencing, creativity and imagination), psychomotor skills (coordination, balance, and spatial awareness), and life skills (flexibility, initiative, social skills, productivity, self-confidence and leadership) are among others that are being developed. Kids love it because it’s on the cutting edge and fun, and so do parents because it’s active, fun, and for the effects it has on kids – increasing focus and self-confidence, boosting metabolism, and enhancing coordination.

Our main focus is to provide a safe and fun learning environment in which every child is able to leave a better soccer player than they came in. The clinics will be organized in a progression from basic dribbling and passing skills, to more advanced defensive and offensive skills. Your child will have ample opportunities to learn new skills, as well as improve upon their current skills. All participants will learn the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and what it means to be a part of KING.
